ABOUT NILA
The Nebraska International Languages Association (NILA) is a professional organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the teaching of languages in the state of Nebraska.
Everyone who is actively engaged in the teaching of a world language at any level of education in Nebraska is a member of NILA.
NILA connects members with colleagues, best professional practices and resources in the field of language education across the state. The annual NILA conference is held in the fall.
NILA is an affiliate of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), Central States Conference on the Teaching of Languages (CSC), the National Council for Languages and International Studies (NCLIS), the Joint National Committee for Languages (JNCL), the American and Nebraska Association of Teachers of German (AATG/NATG), the American and Nebraska Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF/NAATF), and the American and Nebraska Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP/NATSP).
